Pick your format
Whitebirch accepts data from multiple spreadsheet formats. Formats are divided into two categories including specific accounting packages and generic layouts.

Identify Spreadsheet Columns, Verfy the Chart of Accounts, Specify Account Structure
Once the spreadsheet is read in, simply confirm the columns that contain account numbers and account descriptions.
Whitebirch will read in all account numbers and descriptions from the spreadsheet. New accounts can be added quickly and easily.
The account structure can be used to group accounts by category or break out the data into departments, companies or divisions. (See below) |

Select grouping and naming options
If using account numbers, you specify how they are to be grouped based on the account segments. Departments, companies and divisions can be divided into self-contained model segments for distributed planning.
Specify the naming convention for newly created accounts. Names may be changed at any time without impacting future imports. |

Map your accounts to Whitebirch account types
Once accounts are mapped subsequent imports are virtually automatic.
